Dörthe received her Doctorate from the Eberhard Karls Universität, Tübingen (Germany) having studied with Professor Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology. In the Holley lab her interests center on elucidating the dynamics of Integrin signaling during somite morphogenesis.
